A public/private partnership supporting the Stamford Animal Control & Care Center
The Stamford Animal Shelter Alliance (SASA) is a public/private partnership set up by the City of Stamford to be the official fundraising organization for the Stamford Animal Control & Care Center (SACCC), Stamford’s municipal animal shelter. SASA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our mission is to assist in the planning and fundraising for a new, state-of-the-art facility to be built near the current SACCC location on Magee Avenue. All monies raised will augment that which the City of Stamford can contribute for this much-needed capital project.
